All puppy sales must be made in person & face- to-face. Both Purchaser and Breeder must be present during the sale of puppy/dog. This gives the opportunity for the purchaser to observe & see the puppy before taking it into his/her custody. Chihuahuapaws does not offer shipping on any puppies/dogs.
A $_________NON-refundable holding fee is required to hold puppy that will be applied towards purchase price. Puppy must be paid in full at 8 weeks of age, before or upon pick up of the puppy. Cash will be accepted for final payment of the puppy. Failure of the Purchaser to complete this purchase would subject Breeder to lost opportunities to sell the puppy to other potential families and retention of the holding fee is meant to compensate Breeder for lost opportunities to sell the puppy or find a suitable home in a timely manner. Breeder reserves the right to cancel the sale of any chihuahua puppy at any time up until the time of transfer of the puppy for any reason Breeder feels is appropriate including but not limited to keeping any puppies for breeding.
The puppy is sold current on vaccinations (first puppy shot), de-wormings, nails clipped and is bathed prior to going to its new home.
The puppy is guaranteed to be sound of health for up to 72 hours from the time of purchase or arrival. It is mandatory that the puppy be taken to your vet within the 72 hours of purchase or received. Breeder is not responsible for any vet fee that may incur, this is the purchaser's responsibility. Puppy should be quarantined from all other household pets until examined by a licensed veterinarian. Within the 72 hour health guarantee period if puppy, upon examination by Purchaser’s veterinarian is diagnosed with a debilitating or life-threatening illness it is required that the Breeder is to be notified immediately by Purchaser by both phone and email along with a written letter and phone consult from the diagnosing veterinarian before refund is given. Purchaser also understands that there are no refunds, trades, or re-placements given within the first 72 hours unless there is proof from a licensed veterinarian of a diagnosed, debilitating, congenital, or life- threatening illness & puppy is returned to breeder first. If the puppy does not get it's mandatory Vet check up, this guarantee is NULL and VOID.
Breeder will not be held responsible at any time for any health issues that resulted from Purchaser’s improper care of puppy that includes but is not limited to: accidental death, improper care, dropping the puppy, harmful bites from other dogs, not vaccinating your puppy in a timely manner, exposing your puppy before it is fully vaccinated, and/or hypoglycemia issues that would only result from not adequately feeding the puppy. Food and water should be accessible to your new puppy at all times. Please make sure that your puppy is eating well during transition and feel free to ask me questions at any time! Nutri-cal, chicken baby food, and quality can puppy food is sometimes helpful to encourage them to eat well.
The puppy is guaranteed against life threatening congenital defects until 1 yr of age. Should it die within the guaranteed time period as a result of a life threatening congenital defect, said puppy will be replaced upon proof of necropsy, veterinary documentation, vet certificate, and explanation of congenital defect along with a picture of deceased puppy mailed directly to Breeder's home address. Purchaser understands that it may take up to 12 or more months for there to be a replacement puppy available if Breeder is actively breeding. Breeder has the right to rest the Dams and Purchaser understands there are only so many planned breedings each year. No monetary refunds are available past the 72 hour quarantine. No exceptions.
Purchaser understands breeder is not responsible for or cover the following but not limited to: Over or under bite, dental issues, missing teeth (which is common in hairless), hernias, open fontanel, hearing or vision problem, allergies, hypoglycemia, dehydration, fertility or whelping issue, c-section, & pyometra.
Size & weight of the puppy when full grown can not be guaranteed.
Purchaser agrees to provide timely veterinary care for any illness or injury incurred throughout the lifetime of puppy. Purchaser understands and agrees that Breeder is in no way financially responsible for any veterinary expenses or bills acquired throughout the lifetime of the puppy/dog. Purchaser agrees to provide health insurance for puppy for any unexpected expenses throughout lifetime of puppy. Purchaser agrees to provide a healthy & safe environment for puppy. This includes a fenced in yard & taking precaution against predators such as hawks & fox. It is recommended that you never leave your puppy unattended outside.
The purchaser agrees that under NO circumstances will this puppy be sold, leased, or given to any pet shop, large breeder, research laboratory, or similar facility. In the event that the purchaser cannot keep the puppy the purchaser understands he/she is required to surrender the puppy to the breeder. No monetary refunds. No exceptions. Purchaser agrees to inform Breeder upon any change in contact information, within 90 days, so Breeder can maintain compliance with record keeping.
In the event the Purchaser has been found to violate any terms in the contract the puppy will be surrendered unconditionally to the breeder. Breeder may reclaim full physical and legal ownership of puppy with or without due process of the law for any breach of contract with no refund of purchase price or replacement of puppy.
Any deviation from the above contract will be cause for voiding the contract.

Purchaser understands it is their responsibility to print and keep a paper copy of this contract for their own records. Purchaser understands Breeder has the right to modify or update the online contract pertaining to Chihuahuapaws at any time at the Breeder's discretion.
